Enrolments for Term 3 are OPEN.

 

Classes will return on Monday 20th July.

 

🤸‍♀️ Returning dancers enrolling:
Students should enrol in the level above their most recent exam. For example:

  • Primary exam → Level 1 class

  • Level 3 exam → Level 4 class

🤸‍♀️ Class recommendations:

  • Preschool Acrobats (ages 3.5–5): A fun, engaging introduction to acrobatics, focusing on creativity, strength, flexibility, and foundational skills. Using dynamic music and props, classes are specifically designed for engaging preschoolers. Dancers must be born in 2021 or 2022.

  • Beginners (ages 5+): Level 1 is the best starting point, unless your child has previous gymnastics or acrobatics experience. Dancers need to be able to cartwheel well on both sides (leading with R foot, and L foot) before moving up to level 2. During our level 1 classes, we also provide a 'Primary level', and dancers have the opportunity to take an exam at this level, if they have not reached the level 1 standard.

Photo/Video Consent

Videos and Photographs are taken from time to time for training purposes, to help promote COTA and the progress being made. Dancers involved in any photos or videos will be made aware, and can decide to decline from being included. Dancers will be in appropriate positions and movements, relating to acrobatics and in an acrobatics class. Photos and videos may be shared on social media platforms, the COTA website and other advertising platforms. I do not share videos or photos that are inappropriate, illegal or embarrassing of the dancers involved. Please let me know by email, at any time if you wish to decline your consent to be included in any photos or videos, or if you wish for any photos or videos to be taken down.

Information About You

If you are new to COTA, please use the level guideline above the timetable to gauge which class your child fits into. I may have to move your child up or down a level after their first few classes, to put them in the most suitable class.
